What is the normal eye color of a Siamese cat?

The correct color for the CFA registered (the feline equivalent of AKC - i.e. suports showing %26amp; is most reputable) Siamese cat is deep saphhire blue. These are the modern Siamese with the long heads, very thin bodies, light boned and whip tails. Some other registries and breeders still breed the old-fashioned 'apple-head' (rounder heads, stockier bodies %26amp; bigger boned) type, and these have the paler sky blue eyes. Most people that liked the traditional Siamese now like the pointed version Tonkinese, which has turquoise eyes. Check them out at www.cfainc.orgWhat is the normal eye color of a Siamese cat?
