you can make ANY eye shadow look good on you , as long as it matches what you are wearing, and you wear it confidentaly. You can wear pretty much anything with brown eyes, I think purples look really good on brown eyes.
Any color really, as long as you know how to apply it. You have a gorgeous combination (dark hair + eyes) so any color works. Are your eyes big or small? That plays a big role, if there small i'd stay away from bright colors.

i have an indigo colour and it looks really good
try a navy blue. it looks real nice %26amp; it will also give you that nice smokey eye. apply the navy blue on the bottom half of the lid, then take a lighter color of eye shadow such as tan %26amp; blend the color on to the rest of the eyelid.
A light green color, but dont over do it..
copper or light purple it brings out the color in you eyes and hair...
definitley purple, like lilac/deep purple
