Why do people have different eye color?

Please add where did blue and green eyes originate and how?


how as not in $ex thing but how in natureWhy do people have different eye color?
see its in ones genes.when fertilization takes place the mom's and dad's genes combine to give the baby its charecteristics like eye color,haircolor,etc.it dosent mean that if the mom is YELLOW eyed and the dad is blue eyed, the baby will be green eyed.the eye colors of parents dont mix instead their genetic codes mix up to form a new one.somtimes the baby has the same eye color as either of its parents.its based on mendels laws of genetics .mail me if u want to know more.im good at geneticsWhy do people have different eye color?
When they are born only they will be having different eye colour. Is it correct?
i agree with coolguy, it is genetic like if one has blue and one has brown blue dominates. but one can have green and one have brown and the child can have blue if one of the grandparents had blue eyes.
I learned that earlier this year in school, but it was too complicated, so I don't think I can explain.
BECAUSE OF THE GENES FROM THEIR PARENTS
