Is the mutation of eye color (white) a sex linked trait in fruit flies?

I'm doing a lab in ap bio and need to know whether the mutation of the eyes is just regular or sex linkedIs the mutation of eye color (white) a sex linked trait in fruit flies?
It's a sex-linked trait on the y-chromosome, so only males can get it.
