Selecting the right makeup for eye color?

i want to get good quality makeup that will bring out my eye color. DO ALMAY INTENSE I-COLOR eyeshadows really work????

also any other reccomendations are greatly appreciated! thank youuu! :)Selecting the right makeup for eye color?
Blue eyes really pop with neutral brown shadow shades like beiges, taupes and chocolates. However, they take on an smokier look using pewters, charcoals and blacks. For a simple tried and true look, it is even possible to use blues deeper in shade than the natural eye color. For an extreme look, bright berries and plums, turquoise blues, or silver and pewter shades will do the job. Green or hazel eyes shimmer in golden shades, muted plums or purples and mauve berry colors. For a more tried and true look, deep taupes and khakis, deep browns or even warm apricots and ultra dark greens will do the trick. For something extreme, green eyes glare in lighter green shades or with bright limes, fuschias or ultra sharp purples. Brown eyes look youthful in soft pinks, shimmering beiges and luscious apricots and light champagnes. For a more tried and true look, they glow in coppers and bronzes, khaki greens and doe browns. To make them funky and fun, neon blues, hot pinks and bright greens will definitely do the trick.

Know that eye liners in certain colors can also add more punch to the eyes, ensure that they say come hither, or make a bold statement. Blue eyes look best with gray, brown or medium blue eye liners. For a funkier look the choice is copper, bronze or deep gold. Those seeking a funkier look can get it with a dark purple or deep berry. Green or hazel eyes look good with eye liners in a deep gold, brown, forest green and black. But they can get funky with liners in navy, gray or deep pewter. They can really make a statement with deep purple. Brown eyes stay tried and true in chocolate brown, charcoal gray, and black. For something funkier in nature, there is a lighter gray, navy blue or rusty brown. For an even funkier look, brown eyes really pop with accented eye liner in eggplant or deep berry.

Understand that there are certain colors that should be avoided because of the color of the woman's skin tone. Blue-eyed women with a pink-toned skin should avoid all colors that are too pink in nature. Hot pinks and fuschias are particularly offensive, moving way beyond ';funky'; into the world of weird. Blue eyes that remain blue, with no tinges of green or turquoise, should avoid green shadows and liner. Those can actually dull the natural eye color. Green or hazel-eyed women with olive skin tones should stay away from certain neutral brown colors that contain a definitive yellow base. Such colors will make the eyes look dull and lifeless. Additionally, the yellow tone will bring out the worst part of the skin's coloring. Brown-eyed women need to avoid bright greens and any shade of turquoise or teal.

:) Hope that helped.Selecting the right makeup for eye color?
The color that is supposed to make an eye color pop is the exact opposite of that color on the color wheel.

Green eyes = red.

Blue eyes = orange.

Brown eyes = blue.

Because most people with green eyes aren't really looking to cover their eyes in red, popular colors to wear on them include mahogany browns, copper, and purple.

I hope this helped!
I have blue-green eyes. When I wear taupe, pink, or purple eyeshadow it really brings out the green. When I say purple it doesn't have to be in your face purple eyeshadow... a muted purple or a light purple/grey works too. Same goes for the pink.
Well if you have brown eyes, you can't do much to bring them out

But get a mascara with some shimmer and it'll probably help
Well first say what your eye color is. DUH!

What eye and hair color would you have if you could choose?

Why do people have different eye color?

Please add where did blue and green eyes originate and how?

how as not in $ex thing but how in natureWhy do people have different eye color?
see its in ones genes.when fertilization takes place the mom's and dad's genes combine to give the baby its charecteristics like eye color, haircolor, etc.it dosent mean that if the mom is YELLOW eyed and the dad is blue eyed, the baby will be green eyed.the eye colors of parents dont mix instead their genetic codes mix up to form a new one.somtimes the baby has the same eye color as either of its parents.its based on mendels laws of genetics .mail me if u want to know more.im good at geneticsWhy do people have different eye color?
When they are born only they will be having different eye colour. Is it correct?
i agree with coolguy, it is genetic like if one has blue and one has brown blue dominates. but one can have green and one have brown and the child can have blue if one of the grandparents had blue eyes.
I learned that earlier this year in school, but it was too complicated, so I don't think I can explain.
BECAUSE OF THE GENES FROM THEIR PARENTS

How come caucasions vary in hair and eye color but most people of color have predominantly similar ones?

Now before the people who pull the race card do so, it's a simple question. It's not directed to hate on whites, blacks, hispanics, etc.How come caucasions vary in hair and eye color but most people of color have predominantly similar ones?
well its that there are many white cultures with specific different hair eye color. like danish people are known for blue eyes? irish for red hair etc. its jsut the skin color is very similar.

like difference between japanese chinese. the difference there is face shape etc.

with the white europeans its the eye hair that differes greatly

africans the skin may be similar but at my uniersity we have a huge african population and thier skin color is a big range of black. i know that doesn sound right but i honesty was suprised there were so many different colors of black people...

your comparing apples and oranges. different cultures of similar background are different from other people of similar background

Go to www.covergirl.com, and they have tons of tests you can take to find out what kind of every kind of makeup would look best on you with your colors. It's great, doesn't cost a thing and it's fun.
I have the same but I use cover girl shimmering nudes and it makes them pop out. I use the dark color along the base and the color next to it for the whole lid, its great!
I would stick to colors in the plum, burgandy, wine shades. These will make your eyes really stand out.

Changing eye color in a picture?

does anyone know any photo editors or photoshops i could download.. that will change the color of my eyes?Changing eye color in a picture?
I used Adobe Photoshop to do this. You can download the 30 day trial if you want, it still give you all the functions. I've never tried to do the process with any other photo editor, but the process in photoshop is quite easy and straight forward (as it would in other photo editor software as long as it has the masking and colour adjusting functions like colour balance, levels, etc) - but, that's to my understanding anyway.

Try this tutorial here for the method in Photoshop:

Use the GIMP. Once installed, open your photo, select your irises with the lasso (use additive selection mode so that you can select more than one region), and then go to Colors %26gt; Colorize... and adjust the sliders till you get the effect that you want.
